working cranes

GONE AND FORGOTTEN
OK heres' a one for for you guys that up to speed with this thing called gmax and what ever else. can some one please (if possible) build a crane ( 2ooton rail car mounted) that has a functional boom, wheel house, main and aux. hooks? I would but im still scratching my head with gmax. I admit it, that program had me lost. if this is possible and some one is willing to do it please email me and let me know.

Tried Blender? It's a lot easier than GMAX.

I know vulcan has a crane as i have it. now does any one have any ideas on how i can animate the thing. i would like to see the wheel house rotate, as well use of the main and aux hooks.
 
Trainz dose not have the controls you would need to run it. You could make one work but it would not be able to run with anything else.

I was making a whole port of container cranes (and they had parts such as container crane, straddle crane, Warehouse etc... and also vehicals such as "The arrow", the trucks already existed and industry active sea going boats.). until I got stumped about how large the parts for them where.:(

Somebody called it the most advanced industry trainz has ever seen.

He also has the largest collection of animated cranes that I'm aware of.
