Had to remove the 400m platform. Swapped it out with a 300m platform because the junction leading into my big station were too tight and could cause derailments. Also, had to ensure all the grade level crossings had their bells sounding while activated, replace the malfunction BNSF50 Grade Level Crossing and made sure whistle sound signs were placed as needed in their appropriate positions.
Had to settle on the ancient NS style Safetran Signals since the CLS-20R isn't available. The Searchlight Signals were initially my first choice but in an effort to reflect a more realistic approach to what railroads do after a major facelift involving replacing entire sections of older tracks with new ones and double tracking if not all, then most signals are removed and swapped out with modern lights I chose NS style Safetran from Jointed Rail. There are a pair of sections where older Searchlight Signals are found due to no permissive type 6 Safetran are found.
This location was where the tracks converged from a double to single track mainline. Double tracks have been reinstalled since traffic grew to the point where capacity on this route became woefully inadequate. This follows where the railroad removed double tracks on this route due to a decline in traffic, much of it from business which now uses trucks, shutdown or relocated elsewhere, mainly offshored in other countries. This is where Interstate 48 crosses over the railroad tracks.
