multiple versions with same build at 1 pc

In Trainz,
"Version" refers to the major releases of the software, like TRS2004, TRS2006, or TRS2019.
"Build" refers to specific software updates and patches within a version, including hotfixes and service packs. Each build has a unique number, and Trainz uses the "Trainz-build" tag to indicate the minimum version required to run an asset.

.. i have 4 same versions of tranz+ with buildnumber 129343 (sp5 hf) :
- "23+" = complete install with all dlc + routes/sessions by me and other creators
- "22+ philskene" = only routes + sessions by philskene and his assets with necessary required dlc-routes
- "22+ giraud" = only routes + sessions by giraud and his assets with necessary required dlc-routes
- "25+" = only routes + sessions by myself with necessary required dlc-routes ..

issues :

- "23+" my "main"version with all the dlc :
== updates == pro train : inyo mountains II = view error ..
.. in general will pushing this button and appearing button "retry" resulting in eventually "installed" ..
in this case it results in a loop : view error - retry - view error - retry - installing .... view error ..
despite this message it is present in routes and only the last session is white instead of green .. but also playable (not yet completed) ..

.. although contentmanager does not label any missings nor errors, the preview shows green-white blocks, while in 23+ it's ok ..

.. up is 23+ and down is 25+ ..

== missing payware assets ==

.. as i'm paying us$129.49 (€130) = au$200.65 (€113) per year for trainz+ i should expect that :
- i could keep all the payware from before the "+" time .. especially in the same versions .. no matter what buildnumber ..
- all the previous payware should install automatically since t:ane .. as stated in my trainz / my digital downloads ..
- after some months patience, there should be a hotfix for the packaged/payware issues (faulties/missings)..
- promises made months ago, could be fulfilled more quickly .. after all, the promises were, of course, made after a prosperous development in an almost-ready-period ..

i'm not complaining about the price per month, according tony hilliam a long time ago (how is he btw) .. i shudder at the thought of ending my addictive relationship with n3v .. as with any divorce there will be chaos and i will have to do a lot of arranging .. i will have to leave a lot behind, because i don't have a "relationship in community of property" .. at least i expect that what i paid may be considered my possess and that i may keep it in remainder .. also the free gifts during the +period ..

btw : history of tickets is normally under "my tickets" at support page .. as i changed my mailaddress in mytrainz before submitting the ticket : i now have just 1 ..

It appears you haven't checked for updates after you installed SP5 HF1, Build 129343.

Check for content updates. Since the last hotfix, there have been updates to packaged assets and to content on the Content Store. Install any and all updates.

Not all packaged assets are listed and they need to be updated via the DLS, so check for updates on the DLS and again download all updates regardless.

Create a filter to view packaged asset updates:

Install - True
Out of date - True
Packaged - True

Other than trains and routes, other assets can be updated except for some Russian automobiles by CiceronMT and some others that have a different version for the mobile versions such as some people by Neoklai75.

To update these, highlight the asset you want to update, right-click and choose List asset versions.
In the new window that opens up, download the asset that is available to download.

Check for other assets requiring updates. There are plenty, and once they are updated, delete obsolete assets. Keep in mind that obsolete packaged assets can't be deleted because they are within the packages and are no longer listed by Content Manager.

After all is done, you need to check for faulty assets again.
In the list, highlight everything, and choose view errors and warnings. This should clear up your faulty assets.

In the end, you should have the following faulty assets due to the content creators being embroiled in the Russian-Ukraine war.

.. thankz john for your detailed answer ..
- checking updates : short after updating to 129343 i followed your advice already regularly, as a result of which the list is so short now ..
- filter "packaged ass" : was already added directly after your advices in some thread(s) ..
- obsolete packaged assets : deleting disabled = known .. but still annoyingly present in database and listed in content manager (3865 items) ..
- list asset versions : is my most used "tool" nowadays ..
- content creators : i regret their situation and have great respect for them ..

.. i have learned to deal with missings and errors (although payware isn't editable) and is therefore my least important issue ..
the difference (between versions with the same build) in automatic loading of (dlc) payware is more frustrating, because it causes, in my case, a lot of unnessary missings in my own routes/sessions ..
my intention of another (same) version was to have a "clean" version with only my routes and sessions (and of course the necessary required dlc-routes) ..

In regards to the chn d38 schnabel pack, this is a known issue as well; unfortunately due to the age of this DLC pack we have not yet been able to resolve this, and cannot give a timeframe for when or if an update may become available .."

.. it's a reassurance .. so, i will wait patiently for the fix ..
also waiting for a solution for :

That's reassuring to hear. I was wondering about both of those packages. I've been busy again with other projects and Trainz has kind of slipped on to a rusty siding for the time being. I did use it the other day for a while and I felt like I was visiting an old friend I haven't seen in a long time. I need to do that more often.
