Some bright spark has discovered how to take over a Windows computer that is running an internet connection.

There is a patch available for XP, 2000 and winders servers etc from microsoft.com windows update. Vista has one but the problem is not as severe as XP and below.

If you are running Microsoft Automatic updates than you probably have been updated this morning. If not this is one update you should pick up immediately.

My updates are on automatic so it should show up when I turn my computer off this afternoon. Thanks for the heads up.

I wondered why my PC wanted to reboot almost as soon as I had been on line for a few minutes!
Mine are on auto, so that's why....

Yup, running XP at home and at work. Work PC got it Thursday afternoon, and home PC got it Thursday evening.

They're set to download but wait for me to decide when to install. I hate getting 'started' on something, only to have the PC suddenly need to reboot. They're installed within hours of receipt anyway.
