I have found what is causing the silver land problem...
Good weather fog and
Bad weather fog set to maximum are causing silver land,
however when
Good weather fog and
Bad weather fog set to maximum, and then weather is added, this effect is made even worse...
This is before...
Good weather fog and
Bad weather fog set to maximum with rain, engine lights are switched off...
This is after...
Good weather fog and
Bad weather fog set to maximum with rain, engine lights are switched on...
This happened in Trainz 2009 - build number 38411..
the previous early shots were from - Trainz 2009 build number 37625..
here is what I have found over the last couple of days, while testing Trainz...
Trainz 2009 - build number 38411 and 37625 both produce silver land - before and after SP2
Trainz Classics UK - no silver land
Trainz 2006 - no silver land
Trainz 2004 Passenger edition - no silver land
Trainz 2004 first edition - no silver land
Trainz UTC - no silver land
So looking at the results, something has changed with the
headlight settings of trainz and the
Good weather fog and
Bad weather fog settings within Trainz 2009, all the above trainz programs were tested on two seperate machines, with two seperate nVidia GeForce graphics cards, only Trainz 2009 displayed the silver land effect...
Graphics cards used
PCI-e GeForce geforce 7300 / PCI-e GeForce 9500GT 1Gb
