Why has this happened please ???

Hi all, I would be grateful if any of you Trainz wizards out there could offer me an explanation as to why these horrible blank squares have appeared on this layout, I downloaded yesterday, when I went into surveyor. It is Bulgaria v3 from August 2002 on Trainz Service Pack 3. I could not download the dozen or so missing assets that go with this route off the DLS as they cannot be found anywhere, however, the map downloaded OK, but as you can see it didn't go quite as well as I would have planned :hehe: . I can download up-to-date SP3 stuff of the DLS such as locomotives and rolling stock, etc, OK. I am using TRS2006 BTW, but not SP1. But am having trouble with this route, and maybe there are others as well, but I haven't experimented until someone could give me some information.

That looks like you're missing the sky. Before SP1, if I was missing the sky asset, the sky would flash different colors. SP1 fixed that.

Hello Norm, thanks for your answer, I didn't consider not having a sky asset installed would do this so I messed about with things last night for several hours, deleting the missing unknown assets and installing various sky effects, but because I cannot amend the config.txt script for the entire route, things are still the same I'm afraid.
I have a feeling that I downloaded it OK when I was running TRS2004 last year, but I will have to go without it now that I've transferred over to TRS2006. Thanks again anyway.

That's your problem! Try installing SP1, that should cure it!
