WHATS HAPPENED

If you have TRS2009 SP1 the patch will automatically announce it self to you to download once you run TS2009.exe.

Regards

AURAN what are you brewing?????????????????

SPiffy,Windwalkr chris what is this all about.
Got today 2 patches 1 up to version 38273(not 2) and one 20 min ago upgrade to 38285.

Beautiful ALL MY TREES and Jans trees down the drain and glassy again. I can live with that as it was a temp solution to move forward on tress somehow.
THis one is VERY UGLY: my CM2 now does not allow DRAG and DROP item from lets say 2006 edit. This was one of my lifelines to find 10 go arounds to get some stuff downloaded for a little while and now you get me totally cornered.
I stand by AUran all the time and defend the policies and hard work and attmeps to make things work.
Slowly you push me of the the edge of trust and perseverance to continue to make this work all together.
I am getting sick and tired of being cornered not been able to download normally on CM2 and CMP since early december!!!!!!
I can only get to stuff via ftp(2004) crazy completely crazy i keep so quiet and patient.
HOW CAN I GET MY EARLIER VERSION BACK from before 38285 and 38273???

UTMOST ANGER FRUSTRATION AND SADNESS

as if not enough now i find out that ALL my routes lost all there maps....empty error etc
AURAN what now??
I am at the end of finding appropriate words for my disbelieve.

Roy:(

Hi pinkie,

As noted on Jan's trees thread, some of the trees have problems which prevent them from working in TS2009 native mode. The latest patch corrects a problem where specific types of assets could trigger a fallback to compatibility mode even when the user instructed the use of native mode.

I'm uncertain what could be causing your CM2 issues. I've not seen this behaviour myself and I'm not aware that any of our beta testers have either. We'll keep our eyes open for this.

Chris

Just installed patch from notification upon loading Forums. So far no noticeable changes in Surveyor or Driver. Patch indicated v38285.

Does this mean I have the corect version of the patch ?

Cheers.

Hi Roy,

Please open CM2 and perform a database repair.

Chris

Hi Chris,

first time I paniced when i saw all the ???? and routes empty. checked the local file etc did a first recover but the second one did sofar bring back stuff not yetr finished.
I am very tired today from all these surprises, trust me.

Roy

Before I installed SP1, I backed up my 2009 folder to a different drive. I then installed SP1. I really didn't like it so I deleted THAT 2009 folder and copied the back up, back to it's original place.

Maybe now I should reinstall and patch it.

I downloaded the patch 38017 to 38285 manually. Started the patch.
First, after the splash screen, I see the error in the upper window about not being able to display webpage.

Why is the patch attempting to access the Internet when it is a local file?

SP2

Morning all from Scotland

I downloaded the SP2 patch yesterday when It appeared on screen, so far I have had no problems (looking for wood to touch, so pats top of head)

I agree with other comments regarding information being released about what the patch does, maybe the 1&0 dept have quite a few problems with their software?

MartinVK,

The patcher grabs the banner image from the Auran website. All it would normally do is show a Trainz 2009 image, but for one reason or another it couldn't reach our website at the time.

Regardless, its nothing to worry about. The patcher should run file regardless once its been downloaded.
