Honestly I'm not very good at advising but.. Today is Saturday, it's very chilly and cloudy outside, and I'm daring...
You'd better buy TS20010 (you are welcome, N3VRFail
), test it, use it your way -it requires a very special kind and gentle treatment :hehe: - and by no means uninstall your TRS2004 or TRs2006!
If this is useful to you, I'm using 60 % TRS2006 and 30 % TS2010, 10 % of the time is used to decide which version I should use instead of both them.

If you have a pretty fast computer with a good video card, buy 09/10.
If your PC is not up to specs ... you may need to uprade your PC hardware.
I still have alot of fun with 06, and have a FCT, and will continue using 06, (for certain applications), even after I buy 09/10

well these are the specs, of the laptop that it'll be on, (no desktop).
o.s- vista home premium
system make- fujitsu siemens
system model- amilo li 2735
processor- intel celeron dualcore 1.7ghz (2cpus)
ram- 3062 mb
display
intel 965 chipset family
memory 358mb
dunno what you make of the above ^, atm trs2004 runs very well on default settings on the laptop, would i get the same results with ts09/10, or should i just get a fct, and stick with what i've got.

You will struggle to run 09/10 on that laptop from what I've read others advise on these forums.
I have stuck with 2004 for the moment even though my desktop should run 2010 without too many problems, as I'm waiting for the asset repairs to get nearer completion.
My advice is, if you cannot afford to purchase a faster machine, then go the FCT way. If new hardware is an option, TS2010 is the way forward.
However, since there have been no new 2004 compatible item uploads to the DLS since 2004 became unsupported, your choice is now fixed for 2004 items.
