Hi All,
Could someone explain to me how to join two or more Iron Ore Loaders Kuid 2:60238:26226:1.in simple form please and also where do I get invisible track from..If some kind person replies many thanks for your help,
Cheers, Robynne..........

I assume you want to place a couple of these asset close together in a route? If so, I suggest you ask the question in the Surveyors forum or ask a Mod to move this thread here.

Invisible track can be found on the DLS via a search for name = "invisible" and Category = "track". There are lots of them.

  • Place the Ore Loading Docks in sequence with a small gap between them (as shown below)
  • Place your selected invisible track between them by clicking on the track spline connection point on the top of one dock then dragging the mouse across to the corresponding point on the next dock and release the mouse button. I used <kuid2:39134:101050:4> Invisible Track bnsf50 in the example shown. It is easy to see in Surveyor but invisible in Driver. [EDIT: Of course you would have to add a visible track along the top of the docks between the track spline connection points]

  • Then move one dock towards the other to eliminate the gap

Simples.

Also check out Vulcan's own link http://ianztrainz.com/oldsite/project3.htm that deals w/ all aspects of the "Ore Loader" in detail; complete w/ color pictures and figures :)

 Mr Clint,

Thank you very much for the link and additional info you provided on this Vulcan Stuff, I really interested in these items, because you rarely see this on Routes, and when it is setup right it looks magnificent to say the least. I have several water, harbor areas with Hills that this would fit in perfectly!

Why thank you Sir Blue! :D The Vulcan had always been one of my favorite assets, since first laying eyes on it in Sirgibby's: "Murchison 2". There's much activity bringing the ore to the unloader -complete with movable ore barges; much hustle and bustle... and muscle... or should I say horsepower! :hehe: It's a must on any route with a coastline! (As I know you would also agree) the Davesnow Ore loader assets too would be a must on such layouts :)
