you can custom your map to you requirments.
You can save the screen as a file or a pdf
So with a bit (or a lot) of cut and paste you can make a map that show what you want

Awesome find there f_4phantom1959, would great if they had somethign like that for the QLD region. Will keep an eye out to see if anything comes round.

There is one for Queensland: http://gis.qld.gov.au/iqed/map/

Unfortunately, no coordinates.


The Victoria map comes with coordinates in abundance: MGA/GDA94 for two zones (=UTM/WGS84), geographic, and VicGrid94.

The map data base for Victoria is also accessible as WMS, via the US Navy proxy GIDB (http://columbo.nrlssc.navy.mil/ogcwms/servlet/WMSServlet?REQUEST=ServiceLinks):

Requires a WMS client as in TransDEM, but the service is slow and identifying suitable layers is cumbersome.
