very confusing

As I stated earlier, the Blue Comet does not have any routes/sessions - it is a trainset/consist to be added to a route/session or used in Quickdrive.

Sorry I bought Trainz now. Just too complicated websites, downloads, etc.
Might as well go back other railroad sims.

Trainz, like any sim, takes awhile to get the hang of. If you could learn it all in one day, like an app on a smartphone, you would be bored to tears inside of a week. I have been at Trainz for about 4 months and learn stuff everyday, and have a long way to go to catch up to some of the other folks on this forum. That is what makes it fun. The thing that makes Trainz, and most other games, is the challenge of becoming accomplished using it.

Yes indeed.

You might as well go with that, being crazy is actually an asset when trying to play with Trainz. Sane people are handicapped by expecting everything to make sense.

Just hang in there and don't bite off more than you can chew.
I don't think anyone flew into trainz and just knew what is going on in the beginning.
Don't get trainz fever and download everything in sight either, theory comes before practice.
I learn new things every day from the forum , and I still find buttons , levers and features in the game that I should have checked out looonnnggg ago but never did because I was in too much of a hurry to play. :)

Looking over the manual (should have started with that), I learned now about clearing download area of
Missing Dependencies and downloading.
I see things more clearly now.
No need for any more replies in this thread started by me (unless want to).
Just one thing:

Up above someone said that Blue Comet was not a route but a collection of cars, etc that could be added to routes.
In the Missing Dependency area, SUMMER and SUMMER, Blue Comet were both listed.
After updating the dependencies for both of thee, when clicking on Routes in the game now, SUMMER is listed and when opened shows train running a route. Why isn't this called Blue Comet (or SUMMER Blue Comet)?
What is the difference between the two names above?

Any future questions I'll save for another thread later (don't like too long a thread for benefit of others.

Thanks for all the replies.

Why is SUMMER on route list and not "Blue Comet"?

That's because the Blue Comet is not a route at all as has been previously mentioned, but a train - specifically, a pack of trains. It contains three CNJ steam locomotives (one blue lettered for the Blue Comet, one black and silver, and one plain black), and five matching passenger carriages. They can be added to any route in Trainz itself in Surveyor mode, in the same way as default trains are.

If you load up the main sim itself by clicking 'Start' on the main screen, and then select 'Railyard' on the in-game menu, you'll find the Blue Comet content listed under 'CNJ' (as someone mentioned earlier you might need to turn off 'Show Favourite Content' by clicking the yellow star at the top first before they'll appear though).

For some reason now, the SUMMER route is no longer in my Route listing.
Also, no CNJ listing at all in Railyard list.
