updating leefer's dreyfus-- can someone help

Hi all,

Recently, I PM'd leefer asking for his hudsons, and he sent em to me. The Dreyfus is spectacular, and the J1 is cool to. What I'm trying to do is update the dreyfus to have more more advanced features, like whistle smoke, etc. And maybe, just maybe, Leefer will let me post the fixed/updated dreyfus somewhere.

Good thought but you will want to comply with what may be considered good manners or societal norms or possibly legal constraints. It is not hard to ask permission and better to do it before you get stuck into days of work. (voice of experience here)

Ok, say I wasn't going to post it. That was a maybe, a huge, monstorus maybe. I'm just trying to make the Hudson a little nicer, mostly for me, can some one help me add ARN, whistle smoke, and multiple can views? Thanks

In order to know whether the things you want to add could be added, and how, it might be that you need access to the original meshes, in order to add the necessary attachment points.

While the site has shut down, the owner and his content is still around... Haven't you heard?

Unless you are now trying to tell the community that once your site goes away, then your stuff is free game.... that your rights as a content creator go away....

Well, some of leefer's stuff is still around.... but not stuff like his NYC Hudsons, L&N Big Emmas, & C&O Kanawhas.

I am pretty sure that leefer would sell him the payware assets.......

I was talking about MisterB11. Try reading and comprehending next time.

And think about what? Your not being very clear. I seemed to have missed the big announcement that you offered money for them.... must have been a very boring reality TV episode.

Respect your elders.

You may have offered leeferr money. But just because he may have sent you the models doesnt mean he is giving you permission to upgrade em for release. You can upgrade em for yourself, thats all.

I've stated on multiple occasions im doing this for me. If leefer says ok, then I'll hand em out, if not, then i will not hand em out.
