Union Pacific Screenshots Thread

WCL, THANKS!:)

Hert, I totally love the train going over the dam:D , really the whole scene is quite good, but I gotta agree with Chris on the suspended cable bridge, for that type of bridge the span falls a little short, a wider stretch of water would really make that type of bridge look great;) .

Been there done that 1000x WCL:( , fact is those engines are the ONLY DIESEL ENGINES I have downloaded that I absolutly just can not get to work in my game:( , I have asked for help on them a couple times, but...:( , so I have just flat out gave up on them.

Sporburst's engines are the ones I'm using, really they are pretty good, the best I have found that works...so far;) .

Wow....Thats weird.....Do you have all the dependencies??? If not, what ones do you need??? Maybe I could help ya???

WCL, I wish the problem was that easy:confused: , content manager says its problems with the shell, I've washed my hands of hopes on them, nuff said on that subject. (but Thanks anyways!)

BTW, Great shot!:Y:

Did you make these harleys static or just disable the smoke tag, I do not see any exhaust. And what version of trainz are you using to make these screenshots?
American_Connections, I laid two short pieces of BNSF50's invisible track down to place the Harleys on;) , why they wernt smoking...not a clue. I'm using TS09:D .

Thanks for creating the Harleys, well worth the money, and they make a great addition to any modern route:Y: , we'll be seeing them often:D .

I have two questions Iginc,

1- Where can I get the extremely detailed dirt ground texture, in many of your screenshots?

eg. Here:

2- Where can I find the bridge in this pic?

Thankyou, Chris

Thats the only bad thing about releasing routes.....You get all these questions on where things are and where you can obtain them...Hence why I never release a route cause I will get a ton of emails or messages on where the stuff can be found :hehe:

Ronayne & crohakon, you can get the bridge right from the DLS, I have had it and put it on my own route about two months ago(check a couple pages back in this thread) OR, if you download "North American Grain Shortline" by Kingstonflyer you will also have it;) .

As for the dirt texture, its from TS2009:D .

TopGEK, Very Nice job on the reskin!:Y: , Thanks for posting it!:D

WCL, my friend, you hit the nail right on the head, thats one of MANY reasons I'll never realease my route. I gotta give those that DO release routes a HUGE amount of credit! :D .

The last 5 screenshots I posted are from "North American Grain Shortline" by Andrew(Kingstonflyer) , this is -bar none- my favorite route...well, besides my own route:hehe: .

There are MANY FANTASTIC free routes available, but what really set this route apart from them for me was that even though this route was built for another part of the US kinda far from my area, it still looks so darn spot on to the area I live in, its so close it isnt even funny.

I also really liked the amount of vegitation Andrew put into it, its probably the closest route to my own route out there, vegitation wise.

North American Grain Shortline is an Excellent quality route:D . I have however replaced all the ground textures about 100yds on each side of the tracks with TS2009 ground textures, changed the sky, and added in more of Jan's vegitation just to bring the route a touch closer to my area;) .

You'll be seing many more screenshots in this thread from Andrews route, from now on I'll state what route the screenshots came from.
