uncoupling from a consist while in Cab mode.

I've been tinkering the training scenario driving in cab mode. At the end of the scenario a pop up message allows the player to continue the session and reload the tank cars at Palmer Oil. The problemis that it is impossible to load all the tank cars because to get them all loaded you need to load, pull, set aside and them push the next set in and so on until all the cars are loaded. There is no decouple command available from the driver bar and no icon that I see anywhere else that will allow the driver to decouple. Is there any way of decoupling?

AFAIK there isn't any, you have to change to the outside view by hitting 2, then depending on where the uncoupling is you might want to hit 4 and "walk" down there. Once in external view CTRL D then left click on the little coupler icon to uncouple it, hit the 1 key to jump back in the cab.

Hmm, look on the driver hud, the small right bottom window on your screen. Under the slider bars are four black buttons, the most left one is the one you want. Click on it with your mouse and then click on the coupler between the cars you want to decouple. As an indication the coupler shows up red as well when hoovering over it.

Thank You Sniper!; Jananton! That is more than I knew before. I will definitely try these these ideas. I probably knew this from earlier times of working with trainz but it been quite a while since I've done anything with trainz and memory has a way of escaping a person.

Yeah, if you have the HUDs showing that button does the same as CTRL D. I usually drive with all the F5 windows off, so I always use CTRL D. In any case it's POSSIBLE to uncouple from the #1 cabview provided the cab has an external view close enough to the couplers to click on it. My "brakeman" series freightcars on the DLS have "cabviews", and you can uncouple in those views.
