Hallo,
thank you all for your compliments.
Just to answer the latest questions from above:
At first I have to say, that this screen does not really fit into this thread as it does not show my Milwaukee Road project. I just posted this screen because it is my latest screen indicating the 4-8-4 S3 Northern.
The “Coras Café” is a reskin of David Snows “Coras Café” which I modified to put season change functionality onto it - thank you David for your permission. Well you can’t see the season change here as this is a summer screen.
I started building this little route as a demonstrator for season change assets. I created most of these assets for my Milwaukee Road Othello – Kittitas project. Therefore I started creation of a lot of small town houses and store buildings as well as industrial sheds and silos – all assets includes season change. Later on I realized to use mesh library technique and therefore I created an additional building set including the brick buildings you can see at the right side of the screen. These buildings of course will not been used at Othelllo, Wa, but the smaller buildings will.
These series of assets created for Othello, Wa – and other towns like Kittitas – also includes several kinds of HV-Power lines and poles with or without street lamps and electrical transformers which supports season change as well.
Creating the townside of Othello also forced me to create a set of new YARN roads as required to meet the reality as close as possible. Therefore I measured the original YARN roads available at DLS and created my assets to fit at it. This also was necessary as I will add season change functionality onto these roads as well, which is (in case of such roads) not really possible if I can’t control the gmax mesh. Also season change is only supported by the new LOD-arrangement of spline and track assets.
The Streetcar track has also been created by me and I will add season change onto it as well. The tram stop is also my creation. I know I will have to arrange the passenger attachment points in a little better way to get the people more randomly positioned at the platform rather than to have them “lined up” like it is now.
If you want to see more screens of this little town you may follow the link below. There are also screens indicating summer and snow season from the same view point. This should give a little imagination like the route will look like after I added season change onto the track and spline objects as well – and onto the locos and the rolling stock of course. But still only the non spline scenery assets provides season change.

No one of my creations you see here has been released yet – except the bridge foundations (and may be the bridge too) which should be available at my Milwaukee Road Avery – Drexel route which is builtin content at TS2010.
