TS2009 Crashing

Some Might Say
So TS2009 crashed. So I clicked on the launcher and nothing happened. Then about 10 minutes later the launcher appeared and told me to add in my serial number. Then I started trainz, opened a route and a white then blue screen appeared. If I tried to move the spline points wouldn't disappear when I moved leaving a trail off spline points. Then it told me to repair the database and when CMP2 loaded, every single asset was faulty. Then after it had finished repairing the whole cycle repeated over and over i.e. asking me to add my serial number, evening appearing as faulty.

Whats happening?

Wish I knew so I could assist. Have you considered a system restore? It sounds like you might have some badly corrupted files.

Is it fixable?

System Restore is just that. It restores your system to a selected date prior to the onset of the problem. You can find it under "All Programs", "Accessories", "Tools". It is definitely worth a try and reversible if need be. Depending on how much "stuff" you have on the hard drive it takes approximately 10 minutes. This is under "XP". Vista may be slightly different.

Good Luck
