TRS19 Early Access - Update 1 now available

Many thanks for the replies to my problems. I left Trainz running overnight and everything seems to have downloaded apart from some payware. I am able to close the window to load some routes. Some of the routes appear to be a bit 'sluggish' so I may have to change the settings to something lower. I haven't tried 'Surveyor' yet, but I will try and get the built-in routes working properly first.

Updated <kuid2:122285:3499:23> AJS Station Library downloaded today as part of the SC485 & SC486 updates has broken all andi06s Invisible stations and some of mine.

Example:

Code:
; <kuid2:122285:3350:20> Script Compile
; <kuid2:122285:3499:23> Compiling script 'stationlib.gs' for asset <kuid2:122285:3499:23> "AJS Station Library"
- <kuid2:122285:3499:23> VE197: Syntax error in script 'stationlib.gs' for asset <kuid2:122285:3499:23> "AJS Station Library"
- <kuid2:122285:3350:20>  TrainzBaseSpec::CacheScripts> ** GSC> stationlib.gs(108) :  function SetMeshAnimationFrameLegacy not declared in class  GenericPassengerStation or derivative, line 108.
- <kuid2:122285:3499:23> stationlib.gs(108) : function SetMeshAnimationFrameLegacy not declared in class GenericPassengerStation or derivative, line 108.
- <kuid2:122285:3350:20> TrainzBaseSpec::CacheScripts> ** GSC> stationlib.gs(108) :  parameters: string, float
- <kuid2:122285:3499:23> stationlib.gs(108) : parameters: string, float

Following items I have installed now all broken.

<kuid2:122285:3330:20> AJS Station 1x50s
<kuid2:122285:3402:20> AJS Invisible Station 2T 3.5
<kuid2:122285:3403:20> AJS Invisible Station 2T Island
<kuid2:122285:3404:20> AJS Invisible Station 4T 3.5
<kuid2:122285:3340:20> AJS Station 2x110r300
<kuid2:122285:3405:20> AJS Invisible Station 6T 3.5
<kuid2:122285:3350:20> AJS Station 1x110r300ti
<kuid2:122285:3406:20> AJS Invisible Station 8T 3.5
<kuid2:122285:3345:20> AJS Station 1x110r300tx
<kuid2:122285:3325:20> AJS Station 2x110s
<kuid:425700:100512> CL AJS NG24 Invisible Station 6m
<kuid:425700:101985> CL AJS NG24 Invisible Station 25m
<kuid2:425700:102421:1> CL AJS Station 1x50s
<kuid:425700:101845> CL AJS NG24 Invisible Station 50m
<kuid:425700:101987> CL AJS NG24 Invisible Station 100m
<kuid:425700:102425> CL AJS Station for gradients 1x50s

Would imagine a lot more using andi06's AJS station library will be broken and this has affected quite a few UK Routes..........

Bug report sent.

Edit: to add the following routes I have are affected.

<kuid2:340226:100129:2> Duchy Days 1980s (Updated)

Wonderful. I'm working on a route and just swapped out the DMT and VSR stations for AJS. Better swap them back I suppose.

Surely someone checks this before pumping out the updates??? :(

Better have this happen while still in Early Access than when it is finally released.
Have been working on a long dormant route now that the program is more capable but have been making more backups as I work since I know that there could be "issues" at anytime while they work towards the final release candidate.

Seems somewhat obvious that it wasn't checked.

Temporary fix, open for edit the obsoleted <kuid2:122285:3499:20> change to <kuid2:122285:3499:24>, import content folder from editing, errors no longer present.

This is a known bug where the display doesn't clear if you already have that product installed.

I recommend checking the package folders and ensure the package installed.

Had a look, last install date is for items is 25.8.2018.

Do not know how to correlate the file names to S&C

Last one is sc390f

Heh! Was troubleshooting my passenger run on a session that includes the AJS invisible stations just after midnight last night and wondered if the update I saw had knackered the station scripts!
Went to bed without attempting to fix - too late to think clearly.
So, many thanks, Malc! Your proposed (presumably applied?) work-around solution looks like it will work a treat. Will give that a go...

QA team are working on, just sent them some more info.

What is the best method for changing that Kuid2 to xxxx:24?
I changed it in the config.txt and in the folder name - but that didn't work.

Open the obsoleted one for edit, change the kuid, save the config, import the folder from editing, that's import content folder not files, don't try submitting, it won't let you, you can import the folder though, then revert the open for edit.

Should have worked that out for myself - but with thanks to you, I managed to 'upgrade' the asset from <kuid2:122285:3499:20> without issue to xxx:24.

Unfortunately, my sessions using that library are still inoperable.

I'll wait for the QA fix. This means that, together with the brakes applied on diesel locos issue, none of my TRS2019 sessions run properly now.

Might need to start the session again if running from a save?

Thanks for the information. Here's the rundown on what happened:

1. We added some native features to that library to resolve the script errors that were appearing.
2. That means that the new version works fine in the latest build (which you don't have yet)
3. The routes were updated after this fix was submitted, so the newly released routes includes the new content
4. You will be getting the new code build "soon" (it's in final testing and as long as it passes that test, it will be released today).

Thanks Tony, I had a sneaky suspicion it might have been related to fixing the script errors.

I have discovered a small bug that needs to be fixed. When I open the menu to add or edit AI drivers, the box can be expanded downward, but not side to side. I would like this fixed please.

I don't know Dave that worked fine for me. When there's a lot of commands in there, it's a bit sluggish but it did move.
