TRC trigger not reading Reggie's crossings

Reggie's crossings have never been updated to reflect the changes that are required for the current version unlike the crossing components which have been updated by Vincent.

Reggie left the community during the pandemic. You have to add custom-category-list "TRC" or else the crossings won't be read.

What happened, did a patch break the crossings? Is this in 2019 or 22? But there is a diy method to fix them by adding something to the config?

Add the following tag to the TRC crossings anywhere outside of any containers. Containers begin and end with { and } brackets.

custom-category-list "TRC"

Space out the "TRC" with quotes to line up under other columns. Use the <SPACE BAR> and not the tab key. The tab key introduces all kinds of weird problems.

This has nothing to do with his crossings. His are prebuilt ones unless you're talking about the NRC crossings. Those are ATLS crossings. In the past I have used the crossbucks but they worked intermittently probably because they aren't fully compatible with TRC.

You informed me that I can use the NRC Xings with TRC. Is there a way to make them fully compatible?

They used to work before, now that I remember. A lot has happened between then and now not only with Trainz but also with other aspects of my life and info got lost in the clouds in between.

Then in TRS19 SP2 or some time before, the lights stopped working but then they worked and now they don't. There was also a time when TRC crossings, like ATLS had to be configured in the session and not the route and now the route and not the session.

What's happening now?

You could try the tag and find out. It won't hurt.
