Trainz Program TRS19 Gone.

Trainz 2019 program gone--Frozen and then disappeared. The warning said that Files were being transferred from another location. This has happened numerous times through out the years. FTC time for both N3V games and Microsoft.

This has nothing to do with N3V or Microsoft and is more likely an issue with your antivirus program.

Exclude TRS19.exe and C:\Program Files\N3V Games\TRS2019, or whatever the folder is called, from real-time scanning. This will prevent your antivirus from grabbing the program and its files and trashing things.

Once you do this, go into your antivirus settings and mark any files that are TRS19-related as safe and they should be moved back to the program folder where they belong. If that's not possible, you'll have to reinstall and we can help you reconnect to your data.

I reinstalled Trainz. Now it say's I am not authorized to use this product. No patches came up. I'll download it again. My AV is Microsoft.

I use Windows Defender and never had any issues like this with either TANE, TRS19 or TRS22. If I were you, I would do a bit of investigating into what was installed last on your computer. Sounds like you may have either a virus, trojan or ransomware caused by some fake scanning software that you had no knowledge of it being installed

First of all, go to Windows Defender click on virus & threat protection | Under virus & threat protection settings, click on manage settings

scroll down to "Exclusions" then choose add or remove exclusions, if you find anything suspiciously here that you did not add yourself, immediately remove everything within this list "this list is blank by default".

Click Start, choose Settings to open your computer settings app. Click on System | About, click on System Protection, Configure then disable "Wait patiently" the Hard drive should now state "off".. You can reenable this afterwards *

Go to Control Panel | Programs and Features, click on Installed On tab if you don't see anything that got suspiciously installed here that relates to scanning software or software you have no knowledge of it being installed uninstall it

Click Start | Windows System | This PC/My Computer or Computer right click on the C drive or the drive with the location of Windows installation
choose properties and choose Disk Cleanup tick everything and OK

Once that has been done, restart your computer
Do a full scan in Windows Defender

If nothing presents itself, that's good news
You can then re-enable System Protection

If Windows Defender has discovered anything, it will be automatically deleted

Optionally, if you see a program/software that is suspicious in programs and features and cannot uninstall it. You should be able to uninstall it using either Control Panel or Windows PowerShell or you can use https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...-windows-4b55f974-2cc6-2d2b-d092-5905080eaf98
