TRS19 is a 'mature product' as far as Trainz goes and there are no more updates for it unless a service pack may be provided. The current new product is TRS22 and its relations, i.e. TRS22 Platinum Edition and Trainz-Plus with Trainz-Plus at two different tiers being a subscription-based product.
Unlike other software, most assets from previous versions will install just fine in the current versions. Should you decide to move to TRS22 or a future product at some point, you will not lose anything you have installed in TRS19 including any purchased DLC. The content can be transferred over and any purchased DLC can be installed in TRS22 without issues.
