G'day... :'(

BRILLIANT... Trainz is throwing this error at me again... 'The procedure entry point ?Wait@SyncObject@Jet@@WAA_NK@Z could not be located in the dynamic link Library KernelStandard_7c.dll' After that, a window comes up saying 'Auran Trainz has stopped working' THATS IT! I HAVE HAD IT WITH THIS GAME! Please, please, please... I don't want to stop using this game... What can I do to stop it doing this?

Cheers... :(

Jake.

OK, we need more information:

Your system specs (including operating system)
Version (and build number) of Trainz that is affected
Any warnings reported by TrainzDiag
When it is happening (at startup etc)

My guess is that it's a memory problem.

I get sooooo fed up when I run 3 trains on the Tehachapi pass route. I get a fatal error regarding KernelStandard_7c.dll

G'day... :(

Thats what I am doing, but luckily, I have all my content backed up!

I cancelled the patch because it just stopped halfway through the patching process.

Cheers... :(

It doesn't stop half way, but the most demanding tasks in the patching are in the middle. The mid section will take hours to overcome. Start the patching when you go to bed, and it should be done when you come home from work / school next day. Don't just sit there watching the patching, expecting it to be done in 15 minutes...

G'day... :(

Apparently KernelStandard_7c.dll was corrupt, so I deleted it but that made Trainz not work at all, also, there are dial-up copies of some files in the 'bin' folder. Are they ment to be there? And could someone send me a fresh copy of KernelStandard_7c.dll? My email is jaugostin@yahoo(dot)com(dot)au

Cheers... :(

Jake.

They should only appear during the actual patching process - they are backup files (of the old versions) and should disappear after the patch has completed. If they do not, it means the patch has failed.

thank goodness I found this topic, I'm suffering the exact same problem.

So, since I backed up my content, all i need is to reinstall trainz09 to get it working again?
