Are all of the severs down right now? I cant access DL station, or even the web sites. Does anyone know, and do they usually post announcements when this happens?

It's been dog slow for days - so slow that it might as well be down.

DLS help

I'm new to this - I can connect using CM but nothing will download - search finds missing QUIDs but download fails every time @ 0kbs. I have recently purchased and activated (20th Nov) a FCT but this is showing green in my profile, so perhaps that's my problem?

I don’t think it’s your problem.

I’ve got into the DLS a couple of time this morning, just searching – not tried downloads, but it’s been painfully slow.

I cannot get in at all right now.

It’s not an uncommon event, particularly at weekends.

Ah,the Ozzie weekends, starting sometime around about midday on Thursday and culminating with an unenthusiastic return on Tuesday morning - what happens between times is best left undocumented, but is generally driven by whether an Australian national sports team has won or has lost an encounter.

Using the direct DLS web access just hangs at putting items in the cart.

It has been extremely slow for about the last 2 weeks for me, especially on the weekends.

It was down for me last night, CMP connected briefly this afternoon but it has lost connection again even though my internet connection is very good.

It's not just CMP. My AURAN.com home page takes forever to load and it is not on my end. I can move to and from any other sites in seconds. It also requires me to log in each time, something that I haven't done in over two years. I guess all that money they spent on new servers was wasted.

Also, I have noticed it seems to be very stubborn (and slow) as well. As for the having to keep logging in, if that's on the web based DLS, check your cookie settings.

A lot of this may have to do with Thursday being Thanksgiving Day in the US. Many schools, almost all in my area, close for the whole week. Means a lot of student Traizers on the DLS who would not ordinarily be on weekdays.

Shane: cookie settings are OK and I can access other sites that require login such as ebay without a problem. I wonder if their participation on facebook (see Auran Announcements) may be contributing to the slowdown? I access the Auran site on a daily basis and the slow down and login issue first appeared on Saturday (two days ago).

I also purchased FCT and have activated it, but can not use it now. :'(

I also have a FCT,

However, I have now got used to the DLS going down especially at weekends, I do expect this to keep happening from time to time, until NV3 has made the changes to the DLS, which will hopefully speed it up in the near future, and help make it more error free without it locking up at weekends.

I haven't been able to download anything for 3 days. Logs in, finds the asset, says downloading (ZeroBs - I have fibre BB!) then fails.

Who looks after this site, how do we contact them? (they have taken my hard earned :0(

Lucky you. Mine is taking about 3-4 minutes to find the asset, but it downloads it like nothing's wrong.
No big deal, but I'm trying to install the Route of the Eagle ATM.
