SP5 Update causing texture issues

Any idea how long a prebuild --force --nofail could take? Is there a correlation to the number of objects in CM?

Finally

My CM contains 751,429 items. The Prebuild took about 22 hours and according to the report there were 18,708 warnings, there seem to be a lot of excessive chunk counts, and 0 errors A total of 79,367 items were precached.

Mine took just as long and I thought there was something wrong.

Hey Tim,

Honestly, I'm not even running Sequoia, which makes me furthermore think it must be the M1 chip within the Apple hardware. I'm currently still running Sonoma, honestly I just forgot to update. Fingers crossed though it gets fixed soon!

It's possible that they are being populated and TRS22 is still updating and populating the interface and content as it caches everything.

You can check this by going to the Launcher (click on the three-bar menu in the left and pick show Launcher or whatever its called).
Click on Developer and then click on show logs.

If there are any messages posting such as validating various kuids, let it run until this process completes. Depending upon how much content you have, this can take a while.

Hi JCitron
so i did what you suggested there is nothing showing.
Check at the top of your screen in Surveyor while you are loading up a route. There may be precaching messages there and your hard disk will be busy. I've had that occur as well where nothing is showing in the logs but Surveyor was still loading. When I looked at the screen, I saw tiny pale grey text showing kuid numbers and scripts being loaded.

Honestly, no. Funnily enough though, I just sent an email back to the team that emailed me upon the initial complaint about the issue. I pretty much just asked them when the update should be coming, but like I said I've unfortunately got nothing new or promising to bring to the conversation. Really bummed out too.

so it took a look when i open trainz and nothing going.so i took a picture this used to be all in color the same color you see in the picture is the way i see building, trees, locomotives, ect.

Not for me unfortunately. Textures fine on initial opening, then selectively and randomly blurry after a couple of minutes.
neither for me, they said they don't have yet a time frame for fixing this issue ... we can just hope it will be in the next HF😥
