Switch placement issue Trainz 22

Hello all So I'm trying to add a switch stand and when i try to place it by the track it pops up saying that it's an incompatible spline and im not sure how I can place a switch or a signal since it wont allow me too? Does anyone know what I have to do or how to change the settings so I can place the switch stands down?

A known issue.

It happens when you load into SP5 a route created before the SP5 update. It is not a problem when you create a new route using the SP5 update.

The workaround is fairly simple;

1. Close Trainz.
2. Go into Content Manager.
3. Search for your tracks using category track (select the Custom Filter, change the Asset KUID filter line to Category = Track)
4. Open up all your track for editing -
(Select all - click on one and press CTRL+A and then Right-click and choose Open for editing)

5. Submit all DLS tracks (all those Installed from DLS) or modified tracks (those you have edited/created yourself)
6. Revert to original all built-in and DLC (or Packaged) tracks.
