Thanks for your fascinating insight into your Trainz experience William. It seems from your comments that after 8 years of using Trainz you have decided to move on. I'm not sure it's a great idea for me to post here, but before you go, or in case you return, I'd like to make a few clarifying points:
(i) Auran is the company that started Trainz, but N3V Games now develop and publish Trainz around the world
(ii) Most the Auran team are in fact quite thin, not FAT
(iii) We are proudly Australians - those extra letters make quite a difference to us
(iv) With 50GB installed it would seem that you have downloaded a lot of additional content to expand your Trainz experience. I hope you enjoyed the efforts of the hundreds of content creators who most likely provided much of that content for you to use for free
(v) Multiplayer "works" - it simply requires that all players have the same set of assets to join a session. We are working on a continuously running session so that no matter what time of day, people will be able to find an active session to join.
(vi) I'll leave the spelling and grammatical errors alone
(vii) You sign off RIP Trainz. FYI, Trainz 12 is the most successful version of Trainz ever. It has been translated into more languages, released in more countries, and on more platforms than any other version of Trainz. You haven't seen the end of Trainz by a long shot.
Just saying ...
