The Phantom Zone?

I like to imagine being on the ignore list is like being banished to Phantom Zone on Krypton. I recently read a thread that has ended in 31 consecutive messages such as the one shown above. Exciting stuff.

Anyway, I heartily recommend use of your ignore list, you don't have to tell people you are putting them there, ("No soup for you!"), but it is amusing to banish those there that otherwise would cause your blood pressure to rise.

Sometimes, you get really amused when you see a thread as I have described above!

In conclusion, we could avoid a lot of closed threads if we used some forum tools judiciously. Of course, for those of you who have me on your ignore list, you've already learned this lesson!

I think that it would be more efficient in that person's case to have a 'listen to' than an 'ignore' list.
