The mystery of N3V payware updates

Please, can some knowledgeable individual, preferably employed by N3V and working on Trainz, tell me why I am seeing updates to these payware items that I have installed in my TRS2019 installation and yet, apparently, I can't update them?

A complete mystery to me!

I'm not bothered about the boring US/Australian stuff but I would like to have the potentially updated UK stuff, it's payware that I have, and have paid for - so where are my updates ? ! ?

These are for the new mobile version and are optimized for that version. You already have the best quality, most up to date assets for the desktop version.
 
... and if you select the one named QR PB15 (3ft 6in) then right mouse click and select View Asset Versions you will see ...

I have the "Built-in, Payware" version installed but there is a newer version "Not installed, Payware (not active)" which is for the TS3 Mobile platform. Best advice is to ignore these.
 
In the TRS19 Launcher, the 4th button says Content Store, The new packaged system does not allow you to update 'Packaged' items in CM


True, but that is for DLC content that has TRS19 updates available. It will not update the QR PB15 updated asset shown in my screenshot which, as far as I can determine, is not packaged for TRS19.

Best advice is to ignore any "updates" that will not update on your system.

That's due to these assets being updated for the mobile platform. Zec said N3V is working on hiding these updates from desktop users so we don't see the updates for mobile.
 
Thanks for the replies, it appears to be a widespread phenomenom/glitch, not just happening solely to myself!
