Wow Mike. Murchison just keeps on growing and getting better. This is an instant classic. I think it has taken on a life of its own. :)

Sir Mick, sorry, Sir Gibby.....:hehe: I must hold my hands up in embarrasment and shame as I haven't followed your thread for a few months, but, I was under the obvious mis-apprehension that your route was narrow-guage, yet, I spy a Southern Pacific RS3 and lots of other standard guage rolling stock, is this a new route ?? Or, have you got various guage railways on the same layout please ??

Yours admiringly, ex-railwayman.

Hi Railwayman

The initially release of the Murchison Layout (Murchison Logging) was as an extensive 36" NG logging layout that started from the MURCHISON station which was a SG mainline station but the SG track ended around the corner.

When I upgraded it to MURCHISON STAGE 2 I concentrated on the SG mainline from MURCHISON. The Mainline allows for the logs to be picked up and taken to a SG Mainline mill.
But MURCHISON grew and grew and became an extensive SG network with multiple interactive industries, operational sea ferry routes and an aerial tourist route.

MURCHISON STAGE 2 contains

Murchison logging ... an extensive NG logging line
Murchsion Mainline ... a very extensive SG mainline

cheers
Michael

Thank you very much Michael, I must admit that when your Murchison Stage 2 came about, I thought it was an extension of your NG part one, so didn't really look any further, so my profound apologies young man.

Cheerz. ex.
