He might want to make a cab for the Civil War version, as they are much different even though it's the same engine. You know how these cabs are!![]()

The cab will be slightly different. No air brakes... Esentially it is the same cab though. Maybe different colors... I think they did a fine restoration job on the real one which I copied from. Not sure what else could be too different. MAY tackle the firebox opening... but we will see. Whistle will be the same, as the sounds. Will do different sounds for the Yonah and Texas though...
Engine got a clean bill of health so expect to see it by this weekend!!!![]()

Still not there. How long will it take?
...You WILL want to delete the original in it's entirety from CMP and install the new engine AND tender! They are designed to work with each other...
Oh, no, I'm not dumping the woodburner. No way. I'm keeping both...
Fantastic job!!!!!!!:clap::Y::clap::Y:
I just want to give credit where the credit is due. This engine was a combined effort of several people. I might have done the mesh and the texture, but without these people it wouldn't have ever been the engine it is.
SPECIAL THANKS to Robert Pearson of "Pearson Locomotive Workz" for creating the enginespec file(s) and for enabling this engine to burn oil. Without his help, it only LOOKED good! Now it runs GREAT too!
Also thanks to "Pencil42" for his help, especially with the animated front coupler!![]()
Many thanks to Ben Neal of "Sub-Par Productions / Trainz Narrowgaugers" for his help in creating this replica. Especially the animation of the drivers and main bogey.
Engineer mesh was designed by Max Nelson/Elvenor.
Thanks to all out there on the forum who offered advice and help.
Thanks to the Southern Museum of Locomotive History for their help with photos and misc. items.
Thanks to Joe Swagger for his help and encouragement.
Finally thanks to my wife who patiently taught me the finer workings of Paint Shop Pro!

Don't forget me! I pointed out that the number plate was displaced!Very nice jorb there tbryson2!
I mght be interested in reskinning it sometime in the future
, but I likes it how it is now! And with the tender tweaked, maybe Pencil should make a version of his coaches that have modern couplers...
