Thanks for all the comments :D

...daylightguy, can you please not quote images... I have tried most of the locos you mentioned, with horrible results, but I am looking for a hudson...

...here is some extended trackwork for a 1000th post:D, George Sellios inspiration to be added :p...

...this area will be attached to "the docks", where traincars and cargo will be loaded onto boats, to travel down the river...

sorry about that and if you are looking for a hudson the only freewar one that I know of is is the milwaykee road F7 streamlined hudson the only others would be from paulz trainz' NYC hudsons and leeferr's NYC dreyfuss hudson and non streamlined J3a and J1e and those are unfournatlly payware. but I have a question did you try Bdneal's J class northern? I know that isn't a hudson but I am just throwig it out there.

This question may have been answered already, but will this route have interactive industries?

As of yet, no. I don't really use them, as I focus on the visual details rather than player experience... I could put some in though :)

I was gonna try Ben's northern but didn't like the size and streamlining... or what ever it is...

...later, decapod #14 heads to the pier to pick up its reefer load, while a trio of F7s heads out with a freight...

...slow progress, as I'm only adding more shrubs to precise positions, meaning height adjustments and moving precisly into position... dull work but worth it...

...tedious grass placing made me rather bored so I decided to whip up the Type C of the 40ft Boxcars... which will be shown off in the usual fashion:hehe:

I love the steam shots and the 40 footers look great! If I my ask what cars are you using for steam era box cars?

Dave

Yes, the boxcars are reskins of those belonging to Whitepass, but I have replaced the bogies with JointedRail's, for extra effect...

...heres a clean pic... apart from lack of under-carridge shadow I'd say it looks JR if I hadn't been the one to reskin it :P Its a great base model Whitepass! :D

Very nice work Steve.

Love the boxcar; and the paint scheme you have there for the locos is very snazzy. Is it based any particular prototype?

Matt.

The F7s? Loosly based, but heavily modified, on the Boston & Maine F7... I needed the perfect curve on the front and wasn't able to make it myself... The Steam Locos, based on the masterpeice by George Sellios, Franklin & South Manchester, but the logo, text and number design are all dreamt up by myself and Tim. Works very well in my opinion :D

Thanks for the support, fellas! Its needed to keep me going

G'day folks,

after being inspired by a Narrow Gauge model railway magazine I decided to start a 30in division for my Burnmouth & Union project. I realised from this that 30in VR and 30in American are near indistinguishable and that I could get away with using both on the one route...

...so with On30 'Charging Moose Mining Co." in mind I set about kitbashing my own coal mine, set in the US but easily passable as Victorian. I whipped up a sign and got to work...

...it a nice change of face, and I may finally finish an NG project :hehe:

Well, at least the wrecker's on the way:o

I don't know what i was thinking, but about a week/week-and-a-half ago, I got permission from Stevo to take a swing at converting the route to TS2010. I must be a closet masochist, because he said all the buildings moved, HE WASN'T KIDDING. I literally spent the better part of three hours pulling everything out of one spot and trying to arrange it into something that looked halfway decent. Still gotta sort out the rest of the missing dependencies (The bane of my existence) but hey, at least it looks halfway normal again. :hehe:
