The BBC has released some interesting old footage which some of you out there might find interesting. A start to the stories can be found here:

I'm afraid that is about as "Woolly hat" as I get but some of the footage is an interesting social history surrounding trains.

I subscribe to an international forum specialising in Railways. You have on your web site some interesting archive material that would be of interest to other forum members and so I posted up a link. I am getting abuse from some of the colonies (USA) that they are blocked from seeing the archives. If I have breached some form of copyright I apologise but I thought it would be nice to share the footage with my forum colleagues.

There is a way to make the BBC website think you are from the UK. All you have to do is Proxy thru a UK proxy server.
