The Alabama & Southeastern RR WIP Thread (Large Screenies)

It's a nice route but it really doesn't fit with the area you're modelling. Think grain elevator or two, maybe a cotton industry, etc. I'd start from scratch and save that route for a different project.

M213 South. The model under the number is too big, if I make it much smaller I lose resolution though. Should I try for a bit smaller, move the model somewhere else, or go without it?

The current font size is 18. Originally it was 14, but that was almost unreadable. I can try 16, if it's too small I'm moving it.

Now we're talkin'!

It's kinda hard working with the RBMN units because the bump maps on those units are pretty messy, from what I've seen the payware units should be a lot easier to work with. I'll have a few variants of the SD40-2 done today once I'm back from school, so stay tuned!

Here are the 6 different maroon variants of the SD40-2 (including the SD40-2 itself) and descriptions of what was done to them.
The SD29-3 (downrated to 2900 hp and geared for high speed operations)

The SD33-3 (upped to 3300 hp, dynamic brakes reworked internally, radiator upgraded to support the increased horsepower, still the same externally)

The SD36X-3 Phase 2 (3100 hp, bogies upgraded for better adhesion, a bit less crude than the Phase 1's)
