The Alabama & Southeastern RR WIP Thread (Large Screenies)

I'll have to look into Dave's geep... Note that I said freeware. Besides last I checked me and RRmods aren't exactly friends, but I'm still working on that, I'm trying to get an account back on their site, but they either blocked my recent attempt or I screwed up and mis-typed my email address. But that's besides the point, point is I'm not getting anything from them anytime soon until I get that account figured out. Then I have to ask my parents if I can buy it, and blah blah blah who cares? I can always just make one and save myself the trouble.

I don't know if the a&se has any of these, but I made em

We have a handful that we use on Cheaha Pass, mainly because they came with winterization hatches (it's the only spot on the line that ever sees snow without it being an uber-rare occurrence), so they roam the line freely from spring to fall, but in late fall you'll see the SD60 fleet slowly starting to gather around the base of the monster grade through there, and through winter they'll typically be the leaders of most of the trains through there, then the cycle restarts as the usually somewhat small amount of snowfall starts to melt and things get warmer. All of our SD60's wear maroon now though... We can say those are pre-repaint versions that existed during the first few months of their life on the A&SE.

You need a Jordan spreader? If so give me the A&SE MoW Lime RGB and I'll get one skinned.

I have a skin of Dave's rotary plow in the works. They wear the typical maroon scheme, not MOW for whatever reason. We have four and keep them handy, one at the summit, one at the bottom of the slope on one side, one at the bottom of the slope on the other side, and one is stored ready to fire up and go should one of the 3 active ones have a mechanical problem.

I don't know, one of those corporate idiots (don't look at me!) decided that the snowplows didn't belong in the MOW section... :o Besides lime green in the middle of a snow drift would just look kinda stupid. Maroon would look great in snow I think.
