Team Request: Any North American Enthusiasts Wanted!

Rooneth3808 is a really good guy. He gave me his WIP Lehigh Line so I can finish it. I'm not sure if it will show up soon because my BNSF Thayer South Sub is my top focus right now. I got an e-mail from Euphod saying he could not get to the site. He said Freewebs is the problem. I only used Freewebs because I do not know the codes required to build a site. If anyone does, Submit a design of what you want the site to look like!

If u need a new route builder i build high detailed routes. right now the only limit in my routes is my computer. (video card is the very bottom of the line same with mother bored) I also have a few routes that i have planed to build but i need the help of someone that's good with 3dsmax or gmax to build them.

here's a few pics of my most resent flop ;)

the reason y it is a flop is because the route got so detailed that it crouped TRS from it crashing so much (keep in mind that my computer is very low end) and i wasn't able to make a backup :'( and keep in mind this is pictures of the unfinished product and i had the draw distance at the lowest u can possibly make it.

i build all my routes with as much detail as i possibly can put in

i also recently signed up for your forum as dylanviey btw

I like building Fictional routes.:D

i build fictional routes but i want to build a few real steam short lines in my area but as i said b 4 i need the help of an modeler

and btw those pictures r of a fictional route that i started building but never got around to finishing

Trainboy99, You seem like a good route builder. I'll think about letting you on the NAT team. Do you know any GMAX Creators looking for a home? I need a few of those desperatly. I'll consider letting you on the team.

Dylanviey and Trainboy99, welcome aboard. Dylanviey, you said you can do 3dsMax creation for me. Would you rather do route building?

tell me where and ill try to fix it;) .

Well here's a small tip try to not use just one texture for a given area. (take the hill side for example) It's a good texture u chose. But it could use another texture mixed in that compliments it. (this is where u need to set in your performance settings for your ground detail level to max so u can mix it) The hardest part is finding the right texture. (or textures the more the better sometimes)

Maybe try to ascent it with a little dirt or something in random locations (it always seems to work for me) experiment with it until u get something u like or even look at a picture of a hill side. that can help a bit

if u study great routes that ppl made you'll c that there's rarely a location where they use the same texture spreed out over a large area

remember this is just a tip you don't need to do it

to make really detailed and amazing routes you also need a peaty good computer right now my computer is a little bottom of the line but I'm maxing it's ability's out (i can't count how many time i overheated my video card and crupted TRS2006 from going to detailed with my routes. than losing all progress or even the entire route along with all my downloaded content :()

well have fun with it

PS try mixing the textures in a small area on the hillside than when u get the texture u want use the copy and paste tool that's a little shortcut that i use when making my routes

You fail! (lol)

Nice route! Too bad you made it too nice for TRS though.

i didn't' know there was a limit of detail allowed by TRS ;) This route runs fine so far. I focused on both smoothness of play and deatail. I'm also running TRS on a rig that's designed for olny playing music and making spreadsheets. So it's not the best rig in the world ether. Probably about 90% of the TRS community has a better computer than i do. So making it so detailed that it crashes my computer isn't really a bad thing (but it's not good ether)

btw last night i overloaded my video card again. :'( It didn't help that i was running my computer for the past 3 days continuously wile i was working on the route. luckily i saved right b 4 it crashed. so i lost absolutely no progress on the route.
