Hi cjburgess where can i get the fantastic looking class 150's have they been released.

A FGW 150 Heads down the coast.

Cheers,
Cameron

Sorry Cameron, excuse my geographical ignorance, but where's the coastline between Skipton and Carlisle, unless of course they've extended the route to Workington.......:hehe:

axe1970, on the layout there are different types of water, now there's an old British Rail excuse.....:hehe: I've put a couple of screenies up for your perusal. It depends which bridge supports you refer to, some do show up in the water, others don't, as Euphod quite rightly states.....Now these were taken in Surveyor not Driver mode, so please forgive the compass showing.....:p
I hope this helps you with your little query....

This is a spline Timber Narrow bridge for rail and footpath crossings.

I gotta ask, how come the X shaped crossbeams on this bridge are not ghosted? Is this a code fix in TC3? In TRS2004 and TC1/2 those beams have this weird see through effect.
ADD: Sorry if I'm asking in the wrong place but this has been bugging me for a month with some default bridges.

As far as the bridge supports showing through, sometimes you have to zoom in pretty closely to tell, some of the water in TC3 appears to only be a scale foot deep or so, and it's easy to not notice the part of the bridge under the water.

The Alpha Channel problems seem to be lessened, but are still evident in some content.

Thanks Ed and Ex.... I was refering to the bog standard water that we have come to know and love through all the Trainz versions.

You may think me as strange, and you would be right ! ...but apart from the improved steam locomotive effects, it was the water effect which was one of the things I was looking forward too the most.

Thanks for posting the screenshots.

Regards

Ta very much. Its more of a test track than a route. Been busy testing the new 37 sound set i'm making and also the Ruston and Mirlees ones. Fingers crossed should have them out by sunday!

Cheers,
Cameron

Some bad news...

The DLS isn't accepting the new tags :(

I'll upload the release version of the TC3 K class to my website (and link to it from the webpage) today...

Anyway, the link in my last post still stands :)

The Grass is always Greener on the other side of the Bridge!

Lovely screenies guys, here's a few of Carlisle station taken at night, even though it isn't lit up yet, we're awaiting Mike's bulbs to grow......:hehe:
I was contemplating putting some yard lights up, but I didn't think it suited the area and it detracts from the shadows and starry sky scenario, you can still make out the overall picture though, hopefully.....LOL

A Class 47 reverses its ecs into the station in readiness for its nightime departure, as the ubiquitous Class 40 stands idling awaiting deployment of moving an empty passenger train down to the carriage sidings.

Nice to see the lamps working well in the MK1 coaching stock.....
