T:ANE (in development) screenshots...

I have just looked, it came with one labeled TS12 and has the same build as the one on the DLS. But someone is working with me to fix it so it is all good.

Unfortunnaly this is something like "editing the core of the game", not that N3V has supplied in config.txt tags. In this case were setted:

1) field of light = 16 degrees (i.e. angel/2 = 8 degrees)
2) direction pitch moved 5 degrees to ground
3) changed the height of the point "a.limfront" (because the light is attached to it, not to a.light0 )
4) the intencity was setted as ((cos(angel/2) - 0.99)*100)^3
5) the decreasing of intencity setted as "(20 - distance^2)/20"

@Tram__ love this one!
Same here, this is what should happen when you go through tunnels - it actually goes dark. Shame it takes virtually editing the core of the game to achieve the results. Its great to see what TANE is capable of though if you have the knowledge to tweak it.

need to tweak the route's environment colors under this new engine but things are going good now

Is Bangor and Leiver an actual railroad. My guess is no but you can never be too sure. (It almost looks like the Monon red and grey livery)

Whoa...That looks awesome!
EDIT: By coming together, do you mean release...someday?

Man, TANE is really starting to look like a better and better sim, I might have to go get myself a copy. Fantastic shots, guys.

Looking good guys! I think I'm more impressed that you've installed content into TANE and it still works though!

Thanks for the comments, it can be a nice looking simulator after changing all of the default environment & post processing options. Certainly was not the easiest thing in the world, a good amount of the content was broken and took a great deal of fixing on all of our parts. To answer the other question, the Bangor & Leiver is a fictional joint project - Ryan came up with the paint schemes, they draw inspiration from the Monon and BAR.

Here we see the T02 crew blasting out of the sleepy town of Swanson with the 54 & 698 doing the honors today, a modest mixed bag train of 31 cars bound for the Pan Am interchange at Bangor. The 54 shows her obvious Springfield Terminal/Guilford heritage on this hazy June afternoon..
