N499 is seen hauling another Up Healesville goods as it roars it's way under the Donovans Road bridge.

For anyone interested, this is a 'side' view of the bridge :) http://www.zecrail.com/files/tane/TANE 2015-06-01 22-00-17-97.jpg I was doing a test of the collision meshes I mashed together for it :)

Nice one TUME. What other thing are you planning on adding to the loco?

Well, mainly the 4-8-4 still misses a workable driver cab. But in addition to this there are a lot of other things requiring a lot of work. There are the need of texture optimisation. Back in 2006 I messed around with a lot of double sided surfaces in gmax - this should be changed for performance reasons. Unfortunately this will create a lot of work. In addition to this I need to add normal mapping, LOD-technique and of course season change. Also a lot of script controlled features needs to be implemented, as there are random running numbers (except the heritage 261 which will have to be a asset for its own with a shiny surface), animated air hoses as well as coal and water consumption and refill.

Your's TUME

Nice. I noticed you are not using baked AO on your locomotives. I think AO and some normal maps for those rivets would really look great.
Keep it up! :)

The water colour.

I've found it depends on both the colour used on the baseboard and the environment setting.

In this case I used "Ballast new" for the former, and in Main menu / Edit Environment / Water color preview -- Red = none ; Green = a little ; Blue = a little.

Just a few try-outs made in tane 76401, i am not an expert :) but i really like the way the light changes when you change the hour. TS12 never did that for me, it always crasheds when i touched the environment button. you learn to live with it..
Also very pleased that an old dutch train made by Stevado still works in Tane!

Not ready by a long shot, but i like the way it runs. no hick-ups, good framerate. If they solve the crashes to the desktop, i am happy for years!
