Surveyor 2.0 Equivalent to Plateau in Old Surveyor?

Hi everyone. Fairly new to Trainz (a few months now) but I did start route building with the old Surveyor. I have recently changed over to Surveyor 2.0 for almost everything but having lots of trouble trying to control terraforming.

So my question is, is there anyway to work terrain in 2.0 similar to using the old plateau tool? I figure there probably is, I just can’t seem to find it.

Any help will be greatly appreciated?

The Grade tool works the same way.

Edit: When using the grade tool like the plateau tool, make sure the "Grade" box has a - in it, otherwise it will apply whatever number is in there as a grade percentage.

It is the Set Height action in the Brush Ground Height target, both in the Tools Palette.

Then enter a specific height into the Height control.

Then use the brush to "paint the ground" at that height.

Something that isn’t obvious but I discovered by accident regarding hills and raised areas….
To establish a row of gently rolling hills without just trying to use the ‘raise height’ control, try setting down a spline (road for example) along a long length. Then set the height by right clicking along the spline to select it (in move mode) and then clicking ‘Apply Height’ in the sub menu along the spline..
The height will snap to whatever value you place in the HEIGHT field………
………Then select the spline again and right click to call up the sub menu.
This time select ‘Smooth Ground under Object’
You can decide how far the smoothing extends by altering the RADIUS field.
It gives you the option to make large mounds 100 metres or more from the spline or tight embankments just a few meters wide.
Once you have a gentle rolling hill you can then use the raise height tool on the terrain to randomise it a little.
I hope useful.
