I'm trying to find some support beams for building elevated railroads that look like this http://www.chicago-l.org/operations/lines/images/NorthMain/ROW@Chicago01.jpg as at least track objects. Anyone know of any links I can go to and download?

They are still works-in-progress following a recent visit to Chicago. As the images shows, it's a test track so don't hold your breath, don't know when I'll be finished. Route building is a never ending process, especially urban settings with all those geometrical objects (buildings) that need to be just right or else they look awful.

Also, search the DLS for assets by sniper297. He might have something you can use.
Those supports appear to be individually placed objects judging by the angles and the placement of the posts. Are all the background buildings custom made?

Look at Chicago Metro 2.2 on the DLS that route is a good representation of the Chicago CTA, be something there you can use for personal use or with the authors pemission for other uses.
