Suggestions for Jointed Rail (Not Locomotives)

Ground textures to match your track ballast.

A rule to trigger a red over yellow aspect on your 06 signals or possibly trigger a junction to diverge. Lets say an AI train and I are headed towards a passing track on a single main. I can set a trigger so the AI driver can put me in the hole on the passing track. Or possibly the other way around. Be nice to come up on a passing siding and see a train sitting on it.*

An invisible switch stand to use with invisible track to put a junction on that passing siding to prevent the AI train from locking the junction off the main.*

I know a few people have asked to have a jointed rail track version to match NS_37s, myself included, but nothing has every come of this. I was thinking about it yesterday and thought if we can't get that maybe theres a simplier solution. I thought of two ways in which this could be resolved.
My first idea was to have JR make the joint bars come in a pair (2 joint bars) or two pairs (4 joint bars) so that long straight sidings could be done quicker, curves would have to be done one at a time.
The other idea I had and the one I like better would be to make the joint bars into a spline. By doing this one could simply lay the track, then lay the joint bar spline and adjust it to lay "over" the tracks and with that you have jointed rail tracks.
I like the second idea better because its faster than laying the joints one at a time, and it doesn't require a new track model. The join bar is already made. Granted I know nothing about modeling so I don't know how hard it is to turn something into a spline. I just wanted to the idea past the JR crew.

This ones kind of pointed at Mike since I know he was redoing Joe's 89ft flat cars. Its a couple load ideas.
I know he's making lots of bridges so this one is a must. :hehe:

The next load could be any wrecked car, this image just happens to be of a hopper.

Nononono. This requires a very high level of patience and precision to pull off successfully, both of which are lacking in most Trainz users, no offence. Even with my OCD I'd still find it tedious to do this. Just do it the normal way and have jointed rails version of the JointedRail track.

How about a berm, dike, that is used to contain liquid spills/overflows. Also the ladders that are used to enter & exit the berm.

Thanks,
John

We could use some good industrial flats for the model railroadz trend! While it is fairly easy to hide a majority of a building behind a backdrop, it's not always possible when building on a peninsula where tracks and scenery are on both sides of the backdrop, or wanting a thin building near the edge of a layout for an industry. I know these can't be exactly copied for obvious reasons, but here are a few examples for inspiration...

I think that conveys the idea. We could also use an aggregate transfer: http://www.walthers.com/exec/productinfo/933-4036 and http://www.walthers.com/exec/productinfo/933-4035

I know JR has all sorts of content in development, and it's all fantastic stuff. The thread is here, so I figured why not drop a couple ideas! Thanks for the consideration and hard work gents!

This is a question directed at Adam. Do you plan to make any more versions of your 100lb track? Like that with ties that are more closely inline or rail only and bridge track versions?

Maybe some dirt containers?

EDIT: A track version like this would be awesome. (Ok I promise no more suggestions for awhile)

Abutments with matching ballast. There aren't any matching abutments (besides davesnows I think) for the JR tracks; light grey, dark grey, and simulatortrains' detailed track.
