Gary, I'm sure I've read more than one thread detailing the fixes to Frank's work to get it going in the later versions.
Personally I have sympathy for Frank in that a creator makes an asset for a specific version, and isn't beholden to keep updating it. After an asset is made, many others come along, some that a creator realizes are better made than his, with more features or whatnot. If the creator isn't invested in working in Trainz any longer, it's a pain to be pestered to update content for new versions. Maybe some content is better left in the past, that's how I feel.
Of course, if the user wants to change the content for personal use in later versions, then they should have at it!
