Hello my friend, required work breaks are necessary tool, keep you fresh, clear the mind Etc. Always enjoy your Routes,,

I just installed Trainz 22, Platinum, ton of stuff to learn about Surveyor 2.0, my brain hurts...Also upgraded, rather bought new HP Victus NVidia 4060 GPU stunning difference with this over old NVidia 1080 Card..

Hi @blueodessey !

Sorry we've both posted at the same time :D

Totally agree with you there with the breaks - don't take those breaks you are asking for fun and it doesn't matter which aspect of the game you make content for - all will eventually require a break :D

I still haven't mastered S2.0 myself either but the scrapbook feature that it comes with has been extremely useful as I can paste the generic scenery details down with small adjustments and move on without needing to repeat it over and over.
Same with placing trees down to make a forest - just paint the areas and that's it. I don't miss using the copy and paste feature and then still have to find tune it.
What I don't like about S2.0 is that aren't any hotkeys linked to anything so its all mouse dependent.

That looks to be a sweet upgrade! Hope you'll enjoy the improve frame rates with your 4060 card than the 1080.

Cheers

Good Morning Sir,

Copy that, My Video Card has 8Gigs of V Ram, back in the day, 2 Gigs was a lot, and I think there are cards out there 16 Gigs? Crazy. But I like mine, has made a huge difference with Routes that are dense with Bldg, Trees, especially certain types of Tracks too. The old Poly Count game.

I think I want to learn about Scrapbook feature 1st, that would be something really handy for me when I merge Routes.

OOP's Mr's Blue called me, time for Xmas Shopping

Have a wonderful weekend Hiawathamr ;) (y)

Video card VRAM are getting larger in size and funny how we think that whatever size we have we’ll never need more. Always turns out to be incorrect lol.
When I upgraded from my 1060 3GB to a 3060, I’ve seen a huge improvement in performance as it had more VRAM to eat up – yum according to Trainz.

Scrapbook assets are easy – simply highlight an area or select items and just do CTRL+C to create it and CTRL+P to paste it. Keep in mind that they will automatically delete themselves after 5 days unless pinned.
I’ve found some links to some tutorials:
