Selecting Group Of Trees?

I think I had done this in the past but, now not able to select a group of trees or buildings for placement elsewhere.
Using original editor. Adding Shift or Control did not help.

The Placement Tool in Surveyor 2.0 and the various Add Object buttons in Classic only allow a single object to be selected from the assets list(s) and then placed into the Route or Session. The exception is the Scrapbook brush or paste option in Surveyor 2.0 but using previously created scrapbook assets.

I know in classic surveyor it is possible to select a group of objects then paste it somewhere else multiple times on the map (I do this for quick creation of forests)

I thought in the original surveyor there was a way to marquee copy and paste a group of trees to create a forest rather than hand planting it all. At least I think I have seen that in videos before.

This exactly what is NOT available in my TS2022. Can't make any selection.

Some questions.

1. Do you have TRS22PE or TRS22?
2. If you have TRS22PE are you using Surveyor Classic or Surveyor 2.0? The Marquee Tool is only found in Surveyor 2.0.

I have trs22 NOT PE.
I only use the Classic version.

Use copy paste tool. Copy by pressing the big red button and drag a marquee box around the objects, Press the paste button to the right of the red one and select what you want to paste, height, textures, objects, or splines and below select replace or add. Default is add. Paste to your hearts content.
I use it for house groups with trees and streetlights and for quick tree groups, a forest for example.
