i downloaded 2 sd70ace locomotives from the DLS but it doesn't appear in railyard or in surveyor.:n: can someone plz help thanks:)

Did you also d/load its dependencies like bogey, engine specs, hornsound etc.? Or are you looking in the wrong area of the surveyor menu? Or is this locomotive made for a different (later) version of your version of TRS?

Cheers

the locos #'s are 8309 and 8485 made by capykilljoy and yes i did download all the dependancys. still doesnt show up in railyard

if you have trs 2006 then you need tou open cmp and find that train that you have downloadet it need tou commitet if you not have commitet it thos loco will not work:confused:

You may need to go into the config. texts and make sure all the build numbers for all the dependencies are 2.4. If I remember correctly one or two of them are build 2.5 or 2.6

You can check for missing dependencies and file errors using TrainzObject (TO). You can also use TO to view/edit the config.txt files of any asset. After you download and install something you should delete the TRS2004\Cache\world_cache_dispatcher.chump file.

Wheelnrail:
The asset you are missing is an AC44 UP interior kuid 52779:55015 created by Mark Hoffman who was at Digital Roundhouse which no longer exists. I was disapointed when I discovered Frank McCall who creates such great rolling stock installed a dependency that is nearly impossible to find. You may be able to get the interior by going to ProTrainz and downloading the UP AC4400ac. I'm not sure but it's worth a try.
BTW, you need to install Trainz Objects to help you find missing asssets.

Wheelnrail,
Right click Windows Start, select Explorer and find the file ..\Program Files\Auran\TRS2004\Cache\world_cache_dispatcher.chump and delete it. TRS2004 will rebuild it the next time you run it.
