a DIY project, for those that do not have TRS22 (yet) or lack money
or have a slow/medium PC/Mac
START
-From the DLS get <kuid2:646487:101255:9> Schwäninger Land Version 0.8
other versions there are not good/complete
-Download all dependencies (very slow without FCT)
Take a good look at the route, it is lovely,
but is near impossible to use if you do not have a Cray super computer
FIX TIME
-Clone the Route and call it FI: Schwäninger Land 19
-delete ALL trains and consist from the cloned route. yes ALL.
-delete ALL spline grass (causes severe hickups) names start with "Forest Grass.."
export them to .cdp, delete them in CM, do delete missing assets in the route
-delete ALL boats found ON the shore far west
-delete ALL unused industries, found on a brown tile, halfway
-Move flowers to a new separate layer "flowers" (so you can turn off if you want)
this can be done with bulk asset replace
-repair PBR height differences (lot of work)
-Delete many trees at the edge of the boards (they can't be seen anyway)
-Repair a few tunnels, the entrances are a scenery object, you can adjust the height
EXPAND
-A few junctions need to be set to the most used direction
-Finish the HighSpeedLine far west over the bridge till the edge of the board
place trackmarks West In and West Out
-Finish the tram layout in the town east, hint: Olaf99 has good content to do
place extra tram station at the stadium with a return loop
-Rename 9 AJS stations in the big station East (I did NimmerFehl 1-9 )
-Enable traffic, and update the used roads to have carrate 3 till 5
most roads used are by Daniel Meuller and can be easy/fast updated, names start with: Dm-Str RQ
-install a Region with nice cars, FI Region Netherlands on Trainzonline.nl
linked cars are DLS ones, others are included in the download
-place trains that YOU like(session layer only) and will actually drive and make a session
Will be over a week work, you will have a smooth running lovely German route
both for Highspeed, local commuter and freight use, in any version of TRS19
note: the route in TRS22 will be great and better eventually
this is pure for those still on TRS19 and on a budget
