Saving from one computer to another

Hi all

Please do not be mad at me for asking, I have searched and found nothing.
I have Trainz 12 on 2 different computers, desk top and laptop. How do I save the current scenario I am working from my desk top to laptop or visa versa?
Do I copy the backup files onto a stick and insert into game file? If so, how?

Any help would be appreciated.

Pieter

Use Content Manger on your first computer and save the session as a CDP file. The move that CDP file to your other computer any way you want. (Flash drive, e-mail, what ever.) Then use the CDP file to install into CMP on your other computer.

I don't mean to steal this thread but I've reached this position, and then I'm stuck at the next part. I am fully able to open routes that have been sent as a CDP but (I think) because I've installed the route, it now won't delete from my system, neither through the routes screen or CM. Does anyone know how I can delete a route that I have been sent and installed?

Jack

Nope, it's not because I can load it through the routes screen but not delete it. This is related to a joint route project that Liverpool13 and myself are involved in. Please may I PM you so my problem doesn't take over this thread?

I've tried emailing you and got this message :hehe::

"shaneturner12 has exceeded their stored private messages quota and cannot accept further messages until they clear some space."

I can guess, you're a well-established member and people respect your opinion. Everytime I have got in touch with you, you've fixed my problem in just a couple of replies :)

Jack

Indeed. I've now corrected that problem anyway. As I say to people though, the more detail that is included, the easier it is for me to give a good reply.

Thank you, that worked very well.
