Same Buildings Frequently Just Disappear

Same buildings keep disappearing from a route. I replace them and then a month or two later they are once again gone. I think on some occasions they were removed from the database. Is there anyway to prevent this? I do not understand why someone would delete these items without any concern for a customer who may be using them?? It just adds a bad "flavor" to Trainz.

I've not experienced this - and my own main route has been in development for many years. But then I don't appear to experience any of the seemingly weekly issues that you happen to experience. You do seem to have rotten luck.

Are you suddenly finding that the routes are comprising missing dependencies?

I would check for anything that's open for edit, or missing dependencies. If they're open for edit select them, right-click and revert to original. Missing dependencies are bit more annoying. Right-click and choose download. If the asset is on the DLS, then the parts should download too. There's been some issues where dependencies don't arrive on the DLS at the same time causing missing dependencies.

You may also want to check for updates. If you have any DLC, update that via the Content Store. You may also need to download some updated components through Content Manager. Everything but the routes and locomotives in DLC appear to be updateable from downloads on the DLS. You need to right-click on the DLC packages in Content Manager and choose show asset-versions. This will open a new window from where you can download the updates.

The buildings are from Approach Medium and a route of his that I bought some time ago. Not a major item. Just hoped that there might be a fix that I may have missed. Will relook at the database. May have missed something. Thanks..........

I don't understand, the buildings are placed in your route and then they just disappear? Does your content manager still show them as installed? Don't see how what someone does on the DLS or elsewhere would affect your installation. Are they perhaps placed in a session layer and then when the session is replaced or not opened, that content is not in the route?
