All,

I have been steadily working on a narrow gauge route for TS12 over the last week and a half or two weeks or so and thought I'd share a couple progress screenies. No plans to release it at this time, but that may change down the road when things progress a good deal further. Basically a fictional narrow gauge railroad set in the 1940s and 50s somewhere in the Western United States (actual location TBD).

What name, or kuid is that track, is it 36" NG ?

It is actually two different types of track. The track in the top photo is Pencil42s' 36" NG track (35 lb rail and milled ties w/ grey ballast). I later swapped over to Colorado71s' track (as below) because it fit just a little bit better and there were some unique track pieces he has made that have and will come in handy.

Here's another photo showing the same scene as the bottom photo from a different angle, but pre-track swap and before most of the scenery work in that area.

Yet another pic from a bit of messing around tonight. SPNG 1 eases into Alpine Meadows while DRGW 315 waits on the siding. In a few minutes, 315 will be cut in just ahead of the caboose of the freight for the grueling climb ahead.

I can tell you there is no way it'd be done by Thanksgiving, wayyyyyyy too much yet to do. As of right now I can't really say for sure when it'll get to that point.

A trustworthy source told me Thanksgiving returns every year. You can safely say you will be done before Thanksgiving as long as you do not specify which year.

A very early work in progress pic of the latest section of the railroad that has been built.

Still quite a bit of work to do on what I have of the route so far in the way of scenery, but track laying has been progressing nicely. Not sure how far the route is going to go yet, though.

They look like Togog's, he has beautifully skinned narrow gauge equipment on the DLS.
