Doesn't work with Sweden, I recall reading that Sweden was another RHD country until sometime in the 60's, that or I was reading a very cleverly done spoof.
but now I have a problem. I have worked a lot on a route and am in the process of incorporating the road traffic. But this I have started off with USA Region and if I have to switch over to UK or Britain region I may have to start all over again which will be lots of days work to be repeated. Is there any way the present project could be changed over to Britain or UK region from USA ?
The way to do it without merging is to open the config of the route
At the top of the kuid list and under the list of place names etc (about halfway down the config). there is a line----
region "USA" (or whatever region you started the route as)
just change the USA to Britain and the road traffic will change direction and also (I think) some of the vehicle types will change.
My "Green Hills 2004" route (the only thing that I've got on the DLS) is set as Britain but my "Green Hills USA" is much the same but set up for the US traffic direction (rail and road)
In Surveyer, go to the drop down menu at the top of the screen and select "Edit Route". When the window opens, select your favorite left hand drive locale and save it.
This works in TRS2004, but I think 06 is the same.
The traffic is generated by Trainz rather than by the road, so if the road has traffic, Trainz will automatically put it on the proper side of the road.
thnx a lot Claude.... your suggestion works fine only if we are to start a new route... once we have created a route with USA as the Region there is no possibility of changing the same as suggested by you...
but Alan your suggestion of making the change in the config file works fine... again thank you so much....
