Missing road traffic

What is wrong with car traffic on roads? Ive read a couple of posts which state there is a known issue with car traffic missing from roads (including the conversation with Tony Hilliam). Im guessing this is not fixed yet? My region is set to UK and traffic is turned on in the enviroment. There is no traffic in session but when going back to surveyor, I can see that the cars must have been running as there are now a car or 2 on the roads. Are the cars invisible? Is there anything I can do to get traffic to appear?

There's not a whole lot of traffic like in the past. It's pretty fitting these days, I suppose since most people work at home now instead of in an office.

OMG. Went to go to a Mens Fellowship yesterday morning and when I went to turn out of my neighborhood, the artery was backed up more than a quarter mile from the main intersection to where I was sitting, trying to turn right. I could not even turn right because there was a vehicle in the lane, another in the shoulder and another squeezed into what should have been the left turn lane for someone coming my way. Another was right in the intersection, and when the light turned green, the person across the intersection from me trying to turn left honked at the person in the intersection, but all he could do was inch forward a little bit. I thought it was just ridiculous, and it would take me forever going that way, so I wove my way into a left turn and passed by a solid line of cars as I went down to the nearest light going the other way, then turned and went down to the four lane a half mile away, wondering why all these others weren't taking the four lane instead of jamming up on a two lane.

This sounds like Cities Skylines II traffic!

My street is a through street and is supposed to be 20 mph, but people shoot down here at 40 or faster. At the end is a school where all the soccer moms park waiting for their brats, I mean kids. They don't park on the street, they park in the street and block, everything up. The traffic backs up and over to the top of the hill closest to my house.

Not paying attention to the time, I headed out that way to go to a doctor's appointment and nearly rear-ended a woman picking up her daughter. She stopped dead just as she was going around the corner for her daughter to climb in. I would've been a sandwich meat if there was a crash because there was a delivery truck right behind me. She not only got a blast from my horn but also from the truck behind. It didn't even phase her. We have some nasty words for these people that I can't repeat here in the forums. 😬🫢

At the end is a school
Yeah, same street, coming back from somewhere today. Elementary school is getting out and people are lining up to get into the parking lot to pick up their kids. They are backed up both ways, and mostly not moving. Cars in my lane are veering out into the oncoming lane and threading between the oncoming cars waiting to turn left, and the line of cars we are in wanting to turn right. This is definitely an accident waiting to happen and the school district needs to do something or maybe the highway district? I have to remember not to use this street at this time in the afternoon, it is much easier to take the long way around. What happened to the small town I moved to thirty years ago?

I live near a School and see this all the time, and have to take the back street exit ways twice a day. Plus we have so much traffic here.
